Matthew Allen
Developer. Writer. Builder.
A collection of software projects, side experiments, and the MadTV archive - alongside my dad's long-running blogs covering Formula 1, music, the US, and whatever else caught his interest.
This site has served as a personal playground for exploring web technologies for over two decades. It began in 2003 as a Flash site driven by XML, later evolving into an ASP.NET application backed by SQL Server. For many years it hosted a mix of private projects and experiments, gradually growing alongside the tools behind it.
More recently, I've taken the opportunity to modernise the platform using Next.js and other contemporary technologies. It remains, by design, a work in progress - an evolving space to build, test, and share ideas as new tools and approaches emerge.
