Gone Away ~ The journal of Clive Allen in America

Going, Going, Gone!
10/07/2005

I am taking a week off from the blog to go nosing around in East Oklahoma. Obviously, this is an unfortunate time to have a break from the point of view of the serialized story I have begun, but it can't be helped. It is possible but unlikely that I will have access to a computer during the coming week so there is a faint chance that Part 3 might appear at some time. I know myself too well to promise anything, however.

In the meantime, you could look on this as a chance to catch up on previous posts! I have put them into categories to make it easier to find the ones you're interested in and this is included below. If you like short stories, for instance, have a browse through the Fiction section. The numbers relate to the post number in the Contents; it should be easy to find the one you want, therefore.

So it's goodbye to the blogosphere for a few days. Enjoy yourselves and don't do anything I wouldn't do!

John (SYNTAGMA)
As I discovered, Clive, bloggers are not allowed holidays. If you can hold off the cold turkey, have a great time.

Wayne
That's quite an oeuvre!

Gone Away
I could never audio blog, Glod, not having the necessary technology. And I do understand that you will be away by the time I return. Such is life sometimes and, like me, you may have to catch up when you return. ;)

Gone Away
As you can see, John, I can get back to the blog occasionally through another's computer but not often enough to continue the "Accelerate" tale, unfortunately. Does this count as cheating on the cold turkey?

I for one am glad you're taking a break. Having been offline more than on here lately, I was beginning to feel as though I'd never catch up. But, I too will be gone by the time you get back. Good news is, I have a new post on my blog (err, maybe that's good news).
