A few weeks ago there was a big fuss about Yahoo's new, mainly, CSS driven redesign. Well I've just noticed that it's changed further. It's cleaner and more in keeping with modern web design. Looking at the source there are some odd things in there. Like the majority of the CSS being embedded in the head (maybe that'll change later when all of Yahoo's running of a central CSS file). Also there are a few lazy errors in the HTML but all in all it's good to see. The designers at Yahoo have always done a good job, in my opinion, of placing a huge amount of content into one page and this layout improves it further. Shame about the last tables but kudos to the Yahoo dudes for going further in the right direction. As a final note they've also replaced that abomination of a banner that used to be on Geocities with a far more reasonable piece of code.
