I've been remiss with my posting lately and my MotoGP coverage has slowed to nothing; my apologies for that. Next year I will probably separate my blog into two, maybe even three blogs: A MotoGP blog with which my Dad may actually participate (Have I convinced him that MotoGP is better than F1?). Then my personal blog and possibly a web development blog, that is after all kind of the reason I started this malarkey. So what's happened since my last post? Well in MotoGP we have a new world champion - Casey Stoner on the Ducati clinched the title last weekend. Well done to him, his riding has been faultless all year; so much for Crashey Stoner. Roll on the last races of the season and next season too.James Toseland has clinched the SBK title, what a season he's put in. I hope his quality shows through in MotoGP with the Tech 3 team.British Superbikes is going down to the wire next weekend at Brands Hatch. I'm putting my money on Kiyonari as he has the points lead and the experience to bring it home. The main reason my mind has been elsewhere other than my blog is the Rugby World Cup. The World Cup is a very special time for me, when my favourite sport gets a good month of world-class games. I love to see the South Sea Islanders play their game and the sporting attitude of the Rugby underdogs, like Georgia and Namibia, is one of the finest things to see in modern sport. Of course the thing that's occupied my attention all weekend was the semi finals. Against all odds, against all expectations England put the Aussies out! Oh sweet joy. Then the French put the All Blacks out! The highest rated team in the world were taken down by a dogged French team. The upsets almost continued when Fiji nearly ran the South Africans to the wire, boy those Fijians can run! The Argentineans put the Scottish out (yay!) and are now further in the cup than they've ever been before.Next weekend France and England meet in the semis... Swing low sweet chariot!
Well done, Casey and Ducati! You will never persuade me that MotoGP is better than F1 - F1 has by far the most dramatic politics! :D
That's all F1 has - politics. I want to watch racing :pAnd Ducati have done it, taken on the world - the big four and won!
oh please yes! I can' t wait to read *personal* stuff instead of bike phooey :P And also, why aren't you on facebook, hmm??
Pix! Pix! Pix! How is my Canuckian sweetheart? I'll try and post more often Pix, just for you.Facebook?? I'm a web developer, I'd be cast into the void forever if I went on that webshite! :p
